He kept coverings for his shoes to respect our carpet, took the time to diagnose the problem and even went above and beyond to make sure there wasn’t anything he could do to save the thermostat and parts. Checked condenser on roof and found it empty on refrigerant. Pushed In contactor and compressor didn’t come on. Found that the compressor blew out a terminal and lost all of the refrigerant. Emailed estimate over to repair unit as is. Also need to send a replacement quote for system as well. Compressor would have to be shipped from factory could take anywhere between 3-10 days to get it. Commercial service call in Plano and Upon arrival was told to replace drain lines. Manager showed me where water was leaking from in the back Break room. Water was not leaking at the moment. Checked RT use and found no issues with the drain lines. Both systems ran for an hour and still no water present in the area of where water was leaking from. Found that there are seven or Hughes tied into the same drain line and main line was cut right before it enters the building. Drain line enters and drains into the suite next to Jenny Craig. I didn’t see any water above or around the area that is leaking into the building. Also there is no HVAC related items in the area that water was leaking from. Only found one supply duct going to register and didn’t see and condensation around grill or ductwork. Spoke with tawny from asi about issues and recommended to have a roofer come out and check for leaks. If issue becomes present again need to get out here while it’s leaking.

Residential service call for a customer in Plano & Upon arrival found downstairs system not cooling. Checked indoor unit and found everything operational. Found supply plenum being to short causing system to force the air through the ductwork. Found filter clogged as well and replaced customer supplied filter. Checked outdoor unit and found no power, reset breaker and put disconnect back in. System tripped breaker again. Checked compressor and fan motor and didn’t find anything shorted to ground. Checked lock rotor amps and amps reached 132amps before tripping breaker again. Compressor is locked up and would need to be changed out. System didn’t get registered so it’s out of warranty. Residential service call in Plano l found that the main units blower motor wasn’t working. Checked inside unit and found blower motor getting 24v on controls side and 110v on high voltage side. Blower motor will come on but is creating a vibration and not spinning the blower wheel. Tried using different speed taps but all taps were bad. System will need a new blower motor. After speaking with century supply, system does have a parts and labor warranty and has a month left on warranty. In order for the labor to be cover it has to be an authorized York dealer. Left blower motor in a quote for right now. Quote#8303005
