Very helpful, affordable and great knowledge. I Will recommend this company and use them again and again.

Found condensing unit randomly cutting out. Float switch seemed to be tripping condensing unit out. Checked condensate trap. Condensate trap was at an angle and trap is very shallow not allowing trap to fill with water creating a vapor barrier. Water wouldn't drain out tripping Float switch. Repiped condensate trap and ran system through cooling. Checked drain for proper draining. Unit is draining and drain doesn't seem to be clogged. Unit ran for an hour straight without tripping out or condensing unit cutting off. System cooling at this time.

upon arrival found system cooling but downstairs was cooling two 6061 while it was set for 72, found that The battery on thermostat were low replaced batteries and when thermostat would turn off damper would close, noticed that when the downstairs was done calling for cool upstairs would kick on heat from thermostat but Tstat wouldn’t be calling for heat. after looking at wiring found that none of the commons were wired in for thermostat so they can get power from unit. Wired in common. And still didn’t fix issue. Went through Tstat settings, checked wiring, changed Tstat and it still was doing the same thing. I still a 2ft section of wire and connected the Tstat to it and it was still doing the same thing. Also noticed that the drain line was clogged up. Homeowner approved blowing out drain line. After speaking with office will need to come back and complete diagnosis. Upon arrival moved w1 on Tstat to w2, set downstairs Tstat to 1 heat 1 aux heat. Tested Tstat and Tstat is now

Lee said vp office was 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the area. Adjusted dampers in ductwork to force more airflow to office. Closed down supply register near thermostat. Front/bathroom damper wasn't in it( no rod). Took temp reading where thermostat is, in return at the unit, and in the vp office. After adjusting airflow, temp is within 1 degree apart. Front supply register was already closed. Opened register a little more. System is cooling at this time.

Near Co Rd 862, McKinney, TX 75071

Turned thermostat to cool and ran system through cooling cycle. Took temp reading on supply and return air. Checked static pressure on duct system. Checked electrical components. Delta t is higher than it should be (temp difference is very high). Blower capacitor is weak and needs to be replaced. Blower motor is leaking grass out of bearings and may be on its way out. Evaporator coil is installed improperly causing low airflow through evaporator coil. Should have had a transition between furnace and evaporator coil. System will flood liquid back to compressor and/or freeze up due to improper installation. Condensing coil is very dirty and needs to be cleaned. Dual run capacitor is bad in condensing unit (35/1.7 out of 55/5). Recommend replacing dual run capacitor. Couldn't check refrigerant levels due to dirty condensing coil and rain. Ductwork is undersized. Unit is ducted for a 3 ton and system there is 4 tons. Ine duct run is collapsed. Recommend to correct ductwork. Need to send la

System kick on right when I walked in. Found cap on pvc vent, causing drain line to vapor lock. Removed cap from drain vent. Ran system through cooling cycle. Took temp reading on supply and return air, checked static pressure on duct system, cleaned condensing coil, checked refrigerant charge on system, and checked amps on electrical components. System is running high superheat and high subcooling. Unit calls for 6 degrees of subcooling. Liquid line is lower temp then outdoor ambient air. Checked lineset for temp drops/restrictions. Line temps are consistent from inside to outside. Saturation temp on suction line is very low ( saturation temp 34.4 degrees and return temp air temp is 82 degrees). Compression ratio is on the high side like unit is moving enough volume of refrigerant. Readings are consistent with txv failure. Txv is shutting down. System is running but valve may fail completely and System may freeze up due to low saturation temp. Need to replace txv, flush lineset/evapo

Ran system through cooling cycle. Took temp reading on supply and return air, checked refrigerant charge on system, found aux heat running with cooling. Zone control board, thermostats, and heat pump were not wired correctly. Rewired low voltage on system. Zone control didn't have a transformer for it. Control board was just running off of a 40va transformer in Airhandler. Added transformer (40va) for Zone system. Reset unit and ran system through cooling cycle. Zone control board isn't opening Zone on but Zone was calling for cooling. Found Zone board bad. Locked open downstairs zone damper to cool for now. Need new Zone control board. Noticed tape from plenum has separated and leaking airflow into closet. Plenum needs to be resealed. Ductwork is undersized for Zone system and doesn't have a bypass. Recommend adding a bypass. Will get with manager and come up with options for a bypass. 5 ton heatpump in closet with limited room.
